“Even though there have been changes to the facility of Frogbridge, the love and nurturing has remained the same,” says Frank Pugliese. The owner of Frogbridge Daycamp absolutely adores what he does. Not only can it be seen in the success of Frogbridge, but it can also be heard in his voice.
“I’m a man in business but not a business man,” says Frank. He begins to explain that there are other things and occupations that could make him more money but he wouldn’t change a thing.
When asked what made Frogbridge different than other facilities, Frank responded with, “Speak to the children and they will tell you.”
Q: What is your favorite part of your job?
“Impacting the lives of many children.”
Q: How has Frogbridge changed over the years?
“There have been changes made to the facility, like updating and maintaining. It has been great to see some of the first kids who came to camp return as teachers and counselors. Even some are getting married here!”
Q: What makes Frogbridge unique?
“Well, very few camps have 86 acres, three lakes, their own dining room and full-time executive chef but those are not the only things that make Frogbridge special. It is also the passion of the people that work here. We have over 300 employees that take care of over 500 children at a time. Most of the employees, like I mentioned before, are kids who were once campers. They are happy to pass on their good times, knowledge, and memories to newcomers.”
Q: What do you think are some of the most popular attractions at Frogbridge?
“Kids love the spin zone bumper cars, the lake activities like rafting and boating, and Frogarita’s. These are all up there but there are so many other things the children enjoy.”
Q: What is the future for Frogbridge?
“I think the future is very, very bright. We will constantly be adding events, that will never stop. We will keep teaching the kids to respect each other while giving them a place where they feel safe. We want the children to be happy coming in but even happier going home.”
